Battlefield 2142 demo info

Hang tight, this gets complicated. And oh yeah: DICE Canada closed.

The long awaited demo of Battlefield 2142 has the following to offer:

The Sidi Power Plant map.
The European Union and the Pan Asian Coalition factions are playable.
Titan and Conquest modes.

And now it gets complicated. The demo will be available exclusively to people who have pre-ordered the Collectors Edition for around 24 hours beginning today at 12AM PST via EA Downloader.

It will then be available exclusively on certain sites until Saturday; on GameSpot from Friday 9AM PST and on IGN from 6PM PST. Saturday all sites may host the demo.

Surely the most complicated (and retarded) demo launch we have seen yet, and you have to wonder how many minutes it will take before the exclusivity is broken. Nevertheless, the demo will be available on Boomtown on Saturday, unless everyone around us breaks the rules.

In other news: DICE Canada has been closed down.
